Time Is a Terrible Editor

This is not urgency.
This is not hustle.
This is order.
And once order is established,
urgency demands the hustle.
Time is a terrible editor.
It doesn’t understand foundations.
It doesn’t respect sequence.
It doesn’t care what you meant to build.
If you don’t decide what comes first,
time will shuffle it all anyway.
And when time edits your life,
ABCDEFG becomes BEGFAHCD.
Not because you were lazy.
Not because you lacked discipline.
But because you confused patience with postponement.
Wisdom isn’t waiting forever.
Wisdom is knowing ABC must come before EFG,
then moving with urgency once the order is clear.
Pause to establish order.
Then hustle with intent.
Because if you don’t,
time will gladly make the edits for you —
and it has no respect for what you were trying to build.
