A thing created...

Good morning my good person :) or as Tristan calls me, Good-Sir :)

Boy.. summer has shown up! no warning, nothin!.. I love it! >D

Over these last few months I've stepped way outside my comfort zone and decided to start marketing to my neighborhood. Both for real estate and handyman. I'm thankful I have two sides to a piece of paper that allows that for me to do. I don't know if I would enjoy it as much if it were 100% just real estate.

Even with all the Covid debaocale going on, as uncomfortable as it is, I've had to keep up because it's the consistency that matters. Aside from that, all the emotion and creative capital expanded on these makes me very vulnerable. I'm excited to do them and stressed out about them. I know weird... :) So much of what we get (at least in our neighborhood) is either drab and overly redundant, or it's all about themselves and closings. Definittley no handyman stuff. So there's a lot of thought in trying to be intentionally different.

Every time I go to the Post office to drop these off I feel like it's a show and tell at school as a kid. Are they going to like it? Will I get made fun of? How will it compare to the others? Did I pay attention to the teacher and get it right?... All the while I'm filled with excitement too! My mind's already on to the next month's content. I'm eagly thinking about the details and subject.. few words, emotional messages. I truly love it! For all the years I've been actively reading about marketing (cause man! I love reading about it) and now, well.. I really get a chance to quit reading all the recipes and practicing on myself and now instead start making things to be shared with others :)

All of this reminds me of a quote that I fell in love with while building water features.. It was my undeniable "why".. is what made it hard to quit building them when I did.. but as time goes on, the quote is finding its way into so many things in my life. Hits the feels!! <3

Charles Dickens~

The whole difference between construction and creation is exactly this: that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists.

This couldn't be more to the truth in how it speaks to my soul!... as I dive deeper into my marketing and creative side.. it's present in every stroke of the key :)

Of the 4 months worth I've created so far, this month is my favorite... I'm compelled to share with a buddy :)

In honor of Memorial Day and the month of May, it was about remembering them, not selling things...

I hope you enjoy it :)

I just love this picture of Tristan and I!! :) I told him that he was going to be famous as this goes to approximately 900 homes.

I've got a bunch of other creative things I'm working on in the background as well. I'll be sure to let the details out as they come about. I so! appreciate you for letting me do my show and tell this morning. I've got about 3-4 handyman jobs I need to hammer out today and need to take off here.

I about crapped when I saw this picture! WOW! talk about artistic!

Thank you again! we appreciate you more than you'll ever know <3
