Yesterday, on the drive home from a very long day of hard work, Tristan shared a quote that resonated with him, but relevant to the evolved depth of our conversation:
Men have two lives: the day they had one life to live, and the day they realized they had one life to live.
He's 14.
Being the old ass man dad to two boys, but young dad-oldest child at home, and stoic-like nonetheless, the fact that he could recall the quote from memory - resonated with me.
It's a quote anyone can live through - and I just couldn't not share.
Have a grateful weekend.
